This is nothing new. History tells us no journalist can ˜retire' from Eenadu. Seniors are forced to go out from the organization irrespective of their unflinching loyalty towards Ramoji Rao and its organization. What happened to Ramanujan who once was second only to 'peddayanaâ' in Eenadu hierarchy? He was shown the door ruthlessly. So was the case with Ramesh Babu. After building envious network of News Today and recruiting many of his aides, promoting his cronies and giving 'a lift' to 'select few', one thought that Ramesh Babu was invincible. But the mighty Ramesh Babu soon forced to leave the organization. I V Satyanarayana, the man behind the formidable desk at ETV News (I mean 9pm news bulletin), made to stand at main gate only on the last day of his service. Remember all these guys we trainees and cub reporters at Eenadu then thought that would retire in Eenadu! Moral of the story “work for Eenadu not more than 10 years then switch over to other organizations for hefty sum. ...no one is spared there!
I highly appericiate your analysis. I can understand your fustrations. Why dont you describe the salaries and working conditions in vaarttha, andhra jyothi,DC, etc. If you keep on giving one sided facts then this blog will become anti EENADU and anti Times. if i read all the news for me it appears this blog is run for frami ng opinion againest eenadu and Times groups.
I think you and other people who are posting these messages are more biased than EENADU. Are you real journalists if so then give the reader a chance to farme opinions by giving facts. you are trying to frame opinion againest someone. I observed that attitude in your last two post.When you are writing againest Times Group why dont you present about others same holds good for EENADU. I think you are against to anyone who is sucessfull. Don't be more jelous, try hard and work hard.

Stop speculating such things. Journalists at Eenade are a worried lot now. Like Undavalli pressed the panic button with regard to Margadarshi, u people are creating tension among Eenadu journalists. Many seniors started running to other media houses in search of jobs after visiting your blog. Please give confirmed news only. Can't you imagine the mental stress "The Enadu Cauldron" could create among Eenadu people?

y should there be any exemption? eenadu is not the only newspaper in the state that is showing doors for the seniors. sending away the seniors would give them a minimum of three freshers for the same salary! it is the clear management policy. even the dc shows the same way. in the last 75 years of dc group, there is not a single journalist who retired (pls correct me, if i'm wrong). several seniors, who were considered as important for the company, were shown the doors uncermoniously. eenadu is not an exception. it begins the schemes, and others follow it. of course, the others do not follow the biased news and margadarsi corruption!
Yes. Today Eenadu people have many options outside. There is also confusion about their future after the crash of margadarsi. Mainly, after minister Shabbir joined as director, NTV started scouting for seniors and offering good salaries.
But the problem with Eenadu people is stability. Eenadu pay less but the management is promt in paying salaries. No one knows how many days NTVs will survive. That is the reason why NTV is forced to pay 6 months salary as advance to attract experienced people.
In the scenario where 8 new news channels are slated this year, it is not an easy decision to make. We all know that the ad. share of Telugu news channels is megre. One need tonnes of (Black)money to survive in the market where there is no ad. revenue.
New Telugu news channels to offer hefty salaries are:
1.NTV- Narendra Chowdary- Real Estate-Close to Shabbir Ali.
2.TV5- B.R.Naidu- Travels and Real Estate- Close to Jagga Reddy, Ex-TRS.
3.A.J.TV- Radhakrishna- Newspaper-Once TDP now Congress.
4.Satyatv- Gnaneswar-Real Estate-Once TDP now B.C.Party.
5.Indiratv- Jaganmohanreddy- C.M's only son.
6.VTV- Vijaysen Reddy- real Estate-Close to TDP.
7.HydTv- Madanmohanrao- NRI -TRS Hardcore.
8.No Name available- Sambasiva Rao- NRI- Close to Lanco Rajgopal.
All these channels going to share Rs.8 crore per annum ad cake which is available for Telugu newstv segment. So..All the best to these new ventures and the journalists venturing into them.

Salary crisis burning Andhra Jyothi too. Brahmin lobby managed to get their pie but others left empty. Many People worked hard under the dark shadows of their In-charges are scouting for opportunities. Vemuri may face major jolt very soon. KR, KS and other associates managed to make all his CHEMCHAS happy and all in charges got hefty hikes. Some, who are in the job of CHEMCAGIRI also got hikes, making envy of fellow colleagues. It’s time to Vemuri to scan what is happening in his own empire. Other wise, he has to face difficulties with his own employees, as Ramoji is facing on this Blog now. People like us, who left Andhra Jyothi pretty well, know that Vemuri is well aware of the all episodes, but he is feared about the attrition. But one way are other way, talented work force is looking for opportunities, where there work is rewarded. It is time think of Andhra Jyothi bosses.

Well friend...It is not 8 news channels. Correct number is 11. Plz. add Zee telugu news, Maa telugu news and TRS official channel to the list. So.. plenty of jobs.But as you said.. they may disappear after a year or two.
