Our last Telugu report on Ramoji Rao's house at RFC (The Monarch's Mansion) has been a big hit, for it gave a peek into the Rs 60-crore highly protected hill top castle. One dotcom ran a translated version of the report which is now a hotly forwarded email on the Internet. Good to know that, though the dotcommers did not mention the source. We will soon have a revised report on the Monarch's mansion as we now have more details on hand.

They are doing the job just for their salary man! I know them very well. They are neither close to Ramoji nor have anything against YSR. People with 'fire' in them cannot work mechanically, but at the same time you cannot conclude that they are happy with what they are doing. (I am just talking about the duo not the trio) You write whatever you like (or dislike) about Ramoji but don't put fellow mediamen to unnecessary risk with your writings. Hope you will be more responsible in your posts.

I have been reading Hindu for last 10 years or so and believed that it is the best news paper in the country. But sadly the developments of the last few days show it's degradation to the core.

Joy was ineffable. 10 out of 10 for your article--on content front, even to the language, transition. All are top class man. I must say one thing here. The narration and style is far ahead than the "Well cooked "stories" of Eenadu"(this comparision is only limited to the anguage and style. It's not applicable to the content).

what i dont understand is why ysr governament is after margadarsi when there were no complints from margadarsi depositors. Is YSR going to go after every company that is is in losses.

Traditionally media favors one party or other .look at deccan chronicle,andhra bhoomi the owner used to be congress MP.No one went after him .CNN supports democrats and fox news supports republicans.It is ok media can write what ever they want.But going after media and trying to wipe them out is only possible to the murderous YSR.

Brilliant stuff. Having spent over a decade in the Hyderabad media, I knew many stories of corruption in DIPR, but never got an opportunity to expose them. The reason: Management policy. But you did a fantastic job. Keep it up. At least now we got a channel to expose all these things.
I've got another clue for you. Explore and expose. Recently Motorola organised a press coference in Hyderabad. To lure reporters, the PR agency -- Perfect Relations -- called up reporters saying that they would be given a free Motorola handset which the company is launching. Is it not bribing the media? Can you find out and tell us who all attended the presser and accepted the costly gift.

Ramoji has no right to live in such a mansion as it is not his grandfather's money he built it with but that of depositors.

Finally you said so much about traditions of media, supporting this or that party and so on, nobody has gone after owner of DC and ABhoomi,but YSR is trying to wipe the media (Ramoji's undoubtedly)
Pray explain why you, like everybody pro-Ramoji, is clubbing the issues concerning Margadarsi with that of Eenadu? How can you equate action against the Financiers with an assault on the media? Can you acknowledge that Margadarsi monies are lying in Eenadu/ ETV group and that they are running in losses?
Shall we say that YSR should not touch Ramoji empire for any financial misdeeds or frauds solely because of the reason that his media's freedom may be adversly affected?

Let me reply to you very clearly
Please understand that YSR doesnt care less about the fate of depositors.I dont think he is running investigations about companies and financial institutions that were in losses.His main aim is to wipe out eenadu group in a multifaceted way.
1.Create mistrust in margadarsi
2.Trying to grab land from film city-his next step.
3.Exposing chemicals in 3 out of 100 priya pickles.
You dont understand a single thing about investing.What finally matters is trusting a person and or a company.If the trust is broken investing in that person/company is not worth it.If people loose trust that hyderabad is not going to develop in future all the land prices will go down.All other countries give credit to USA When USA wants to buy things from other countries because of credibility.Ramoji has that credibilty.He can take deposits and maintain a company and live like a king and also a king maker.
Total value of ramoji group is much more than margadarsi losses.I bet if goes public for shares for any of his companies he can get several times more than margadarsi losses.
People trust ramoji that is the reason there were no complaints on ramoji in the past and for the record there wont be any in the future.

Ramoji is using two weapons against YSR. On the one hand he is trying to provoke the farmers on power issue. He is promoting the split in the State on the other. He is not only pushing KCR but also mobilising Andhra unemployed politicians to support the split. Ramoji thinks by deviding the State he will be able to take revenge on YSR. I think this is a stupid move.

I fully appreciate your agony about my terming fraud in relation with issues surrounding Ramoji. I also wish to bring it to your attention, the context which you seem to have deliberately or inadvertently missed.
When I mentioned fraud, I was referring to the fraudulent methods adopted by Ramoji since 1999 in mopping up deposits from the gullible public, the fraudulent way he has been misleading RBI eversince submitting time and again declarations which he did not adhere to (the details are all there in today's papers) and never once taking the public into confidence about investments he made in his own other outfits with their money.
Till the other day when it was bared by the congress MP Arunkumar,
not a soul had any inkling tha fate of all those 2600 odd crores of depositors' money, nor that the fact of the companies where Ramoji invested were in losses. If this is not fraud, what else is?
I can say, it is not possible for YSR or any of his party's higherups to finish off Eenadu.
Why all this unnecessary debate? why can't Ramoji come clean on disclosing the details on how he is going to make funds available to pay the last of the depositors?
why can't he reveal when he is recieving money from Blackstone.Plc, US to which he is reported to have sold 26 percent of his company's holdings?
If he does that, who is going to talk anything about Eenadu or media-stiffling anymore?
I for one, am 150 percent for an un-biased media and ardently wish that Eenadu maintains its pre-eminence just as now for a longtime to come. Today's polity and the people at large need such pillars in the media.

If that had been the case then no body would've pointed a finger at him. But the case is different, let me remind u of the liquor movement.
