TD MP arranges chopper for Ramoji

Telugu Desam's Chittoor MP Adikesavulu Naidu helped Ramoji with a private helicopter to take the photographs of the CM’s estate. That’s how Eenadu managed to get clear pictures of the estate in Kadapa (Raja Kota Rahasyam, Dec 18) unlike the blurred satellite pictures of the ORR, Congress leaders tell us. Kesavulu is the paparazzi.
Remember, this grand old photographers spelled doom for the Congress in the Eighties when he captured the young Rajiv Gandhi publicly ill-treating CM Anjaiah, which Eenadu splashed all over Page One. That set the stage for NTR to galvanize people against Congress raising the Telugu Aatma Gauravam slogan. The same Kesavulu accompanied NTR all through his campaign, but that’s another story.
What this concerted effort tells us is the strong nexus between the Yell-ow brigade and Eenadu. The bond is as umbilical as the BJP’s to the RSS. So, it won’t be inappropriate to call the Eenadu-TDP combine as the Ramoji Parivar (wherein Ramoji and Chandrababu are the likes of RSS’ Sudershan and BJP’s Advani).
Ramoji is said to have boasted that YSR would be no match to him. “I will bulldoze him. Don’t forget I gave the jitters to Indira Gandhi, Chenna Reddy, Vengal Rao…YSR is a bachcha," he told his close aides. But frustration grew when the underdog YSR proved to be a tough nut to crack and the heights of desperation is reflected in the heights he is sending his team (paparazzi in the air) and the depths he is stooping to in his editorial content. For the first time ever, the Speaker of Lok Sabha had to admonish a newspaper for putting words in his mouth! Eenadu did not even have the honesty and character to apologize for its unpardonable professional blunder. It just expressed regrets.
So much for its “nippu laanti nijaayithi”!
PS: What do you guys think on the vertical split within the media on ‘la affaire Ramoji? N Ram (remember we clubbed Ramoji and Ram – communists-turned-capitalists and excel in exploitation and double-stnadards). N Ram, we hear, had to cut a sorry figure after some reporters pinned him down for explanation on his open support to Ramoji on a legal matter. The gentleman-editor K Ram of Andhra Jyothy made a scathing attack on N Ram. His editorial "Ram ka Dua" is a must read. What’s your take? Post comments or write to apmedia@rediffmail.com.

Hi
Good piece baba,
Ramoji kept people in cloud nine for nine years writing so much that Naidu is transforming state into Singapore.
Even they published Naidu in Disneyland. THey published Naidu;s car puncture(havva..can u imagine puncture onUS roads)...
It was Ramoji who is the kingmaker..

YOu all should write to N Ram..guys
His e mail ID is nram@vsnl.com.

You should tell him the clear picture happening in the State

TD legislators carried bigger images if Idupula Paya estate arial view today while marching to Raj Bhavan. Actually it is Eenadu from where they get dictates.

Ramoji pariwar :-) a good comparison.

Ram ka dua article in AJyothi is the best piece of writing on the ongoing feuds between R Rao&R Reddy. I have stopped reading EENADU for the last couple of days, as it looks more like an yellow pamphlet and has lost its sense of balance. It is a pity that a public media like Newpaper and TV is being used to drum up support for all the misdeeds of R Rao.

Vikram.
Here in filmcity bosses are worried about this blog. They have asked the IT guys to start a real blog which initially writes positive about all the media houses and start attacking a selected few later.
Here we are in a confused state of mind.We know we are being pushed towards BJP and TDP.Sincere journalists are unable to take this.Reporters are asked not to give any coverage to Congress guys. Some reporters are assigned to investigate the weakness of rival paper editors. They are taking out the mobile details of rival media guys. We know this is wrong.
We are really worried about our future.

Great job in finding the paparazzi. But, I think Eenadu had apologised for putting words into the speaker's mouth. I remember reading a front page box item apologising for interpreting what Mr Chatterjee had said in that conference attended by N Ram and H K Dua.

What to say? Our media needs real mending. We can't.. atleast I don't support ramoji who's acting with out any responsibility. By attacking ysr (not that am a fan of ysr or congress) he's losing credibility. I hope somebody tells him that public is not ready to consume whatever he publishes like before. this is not what people are expecting either from the government or from the media. As it is media lost credibility in the eyes of public..Let it not degrade itself more...

You are perfectly carrying on campaign on behalf of Reddy lobby, Mr Reddy

Its not surprising. The whole world knows that Ramoji and Chandrababu teamed up to wage a war against the Congress Government. Its a known fact that the desperate Chandrababu and despotic Ramoji launched the present tirade with a miscalculation that they could corner YS on ORR issue. (It boomeranged, its a different matter.) It was Ramoji who gave the relevant documents to his reporters prompting them to "expose" the Congress leaders on land issue.
The scheme of things at Eenadu are like this. Ramoji and Naidu decide the day's agenda in the morning and conveys to Eenadu's MD Kiron and his men. Before the things trickles down, an edit piece written by either Baalu (who mastered the art of lifting paragraphs from RRG files) or Murthy (who can say nothing even in a full page editorial) lands at the desk.
By evening, the general desk (headed by a self proclaimed philosopher) creates a big issue to make a banner. One more comedy character called Sridhar comes out with a cartoon (have you ever seen a CM being portrayed as a thief repeatedly?).
That's how things work out in our Eenadu, the largest circulated Telugu daily.

Eenadu has become a yellow rag and is having only one point agenda. It has ceased to be newspaper and has lost all its credibility. How long will it drag its Anti YSR tirade.

It's nothing new. People are saying that Ramoji is stooping like never before. But, I say, he hit the ROCK BOTTOM longback. So, he can't stoop down any further. Anyway we must appreciate YSR's courage and conviction (what ever motives be). Wish him all the best. Hope he will give a fitting reply to our self-proclaimed "jagdrakshakudu"--Ramoji rao.

You guys are just frustrated on Ramoji. What about TV9,DC and Vaartha(and even Gemini News)? You guys didn't even mention about this, other vertical of media?

The whole media has lost its credibility, not just Eenadu. So why do we still prefer Eenadu?Because newspaper is not just about politics and Eenadu gives better info on other matters be it health/sport/business.

The media in Hyderbad has proved that they are not apolitical as they should be. They are either divided either into pro YSR camp or anti YSR camp. No newspaper had so far taken the pains to call a spade a spade. It is either highly critical of YSR or extreme supporter of YSR. Unfortunately this blog also is one sided and being edited and written by inexperienced who think are Mr Know all. There were number of occasions when the then LS speaker Balram Jhakar pulled up media. Moreover there were no news channels or this many number of papers involved in unhealthy competion.
The blog is yet to show its courage and say yes YSR did commit a mistake. It is attacking only RR and not YSR. This shows how biased blog writers and editorial staff are.

Has eenadu use chopper to cover flood damage ? That speaks folks ..

Ramoji cannot do anything to YSR as long as he enjoys AP people's support. PERIOD.

Ramoji and TDP together misled AP people for many years. Imagine if the projects like free electricity, Jalayagnam, ORR, Bhodanam was done by CBN, how much coverage those projects would have got.

For eg.

ORR - Desamulo kella prthistamakamaina Project.
Jalayagnam - Raithula paaliti Varam.
Free Electricity - Aakali chavulaku parishkaram ku TDP mahattara kaaryakram
Bhoodanam - CBN Rajyam - pedavadi rajyam

Ramoji's credebility was lost once for ever and thats a GOOD thing that people of andhra pradesh will not have to read and read and read these biased reports by eenadu.

I don't see any thing wrong using an helicopter of a TD leader by Eenadu. I only object the way Eenadu is making an issue of this assigned land issue which no one bothers (Read general public) in the state. Today, the day to day governance has come to standstill with the ongoing war between YSR and Ramoji. Not that YSR did better governance before but fighting for thier own sake is a shame and criminial waste of time and expenditure.

Hi why don't you people write on TV 9 for a change? Concentrate this time on Electronic media. They say want to explore new territories like Tamilnadu, Maharasthra and even African continent. They don't have even have enough infrastructre at thier office. One computer is shared by three to four journalists in thier office. And they want to go national and international! LOL:)

N Ram has to tag along with Eenadu. This is because Hindu has advertisement tie up with Eenadu. If Ramoji Rao pulls this plug, then Hindu will have to go the Indian Express (Hyderabad) way and will have to close down.

As it is Hindu is surviving because of the largesse handed out by a senior railway officer who is also the husband of a union minister of state. This man releases tender advertisements of SCR worth crores to The Hindu every month.

In return for the favour of tender ads, Hindu carries frivolous reports on how the minister and her husband performed puja at a temple. Is that news ?

Mr N Ram, when did you stoop to the level of plugging for self seeking publicity crazy men like the railway officer who incidentally is the head of the PR department of SCR ?

Don't sermonise about newspaper ethics, when your own newspaper has none of it.

Dude I am nota fan of either of them but YSR being the chief leader of the state lost the moral credibility ,How can he lead the state after publicly admitting of being corrupt.
It is clearly the responsibility of the media to take a critical look at the ruling party/persons or any other party, after all the goal is to protect poor innocent people, from corrupt powerful people.
I only hope poor innocent people benefit from their personal fights

It's very sad to look at the messing of media and using it to promote own interests. At last it's time for people to start analyzing all the happenings than peppermint stories.

If Tehelka's Sting Journalism (supported by congress bigwigs)is not wrong, why is this wrong?

In my view there should be strong media which can question/expose government. Given the financial status of other media groups, it may not be possible in India.

We are living in a country where the papers sell off even editorial space to the highest bidder. Naturally the ruling party can bid highest.. that's how most papers are singing the government tune..

I think you got your facts wrong. I checked out and found that the helicopter has filed its flight plans with ATC Bangalore.

Remember, no plane or helicopter is allowed to take off without filing its flight plan. Please check with your sources before filing wrong news like the one in your blog.

Dr.Sundar says..
The reason why the bloggers donot write about other media is that they never got 2,600 crores from the commonman to run thier business.Whatever they do, they do it legally.
Here is a person who collected crores using the credibility of his paper and showing losses to them.
Today YSR is in the dock because he violated the law.But do you think Ramoji has the moral right to take on him?
Lets not spare if the other media commits the same mistake.
Tv9 might be giving a single computer to 3 people,Other papers may give a single system to 10subs but the question here is where from they are getting the money. Is it legal or illegal?
My point is.. the people who run the press should lead a legal life.

I am sure,if the owner of this blog owns a newspaper or tv channel,he would be pro-congress.And then there would be another blog criticising that newspaper/tv channel.

If Eenadu has been doing the role of opposition whats your problem.Whats wrong in using Chopper. If YSR government pulls Eenadu on this issue then thats going to be another self-goal by YSR(sorry I should quote it as 'Yes Sonia Reddy').

You guys are anti-Ramoji in personal and that reflects in your profession too.But for people of other profession like us it doesn't matter what Ramoji had done to you or has been doing to you.We care only for the quality of the news/info and Eenadu is best in that.

Infact this blog should be given caption as 'The Ugly, The Bad, The Good in and about EENADU in Andhra Pradesh'

Why is that there is not a single post todate on Girish Sanghi or Ravi Prakash?

hi,
i just wanted to reply to some of the comments here in support of ramoji. the comments have even tried to brand the blog as pro-ysr, while praising ramoji to the sky! wonderful. but the supporters of ramoji should think once before they brand others.
i can see a dozen senior hands in the media behind this blog, who were hurt, humiliated and exploited by ramojis and others of his style. the editors and the owners of media have come up as these seniors shed their blood. be it eenadu or joythi or vaartha or dc, the journalists (seniors) have given their blood for the organisations. and in return, what did they get? nothing. a word of 'useless', 'should retire'. these are the titles that these newspapers are giving to the seniors. and at the end, if they have a problem, they talk about 'attack on freedom of press' or brand them as someone's supporters. dudes, the blog is doing what a good majority of the journalists are not able to do. give them a pat as long as they don't go too much personal. when ramoji can use the entire paper and channel to protect himself and expose his critic, why not others counter him.. as this blog is doing? take a look at eenadu these days? is the reader interested in all these things? why the entire paper and channel are dedicated to protect the owner and counter the critics? is there a justification in the reports that eenadu carries these days? is it called freedom of press?
