I think Mr. Ramoji has eligibility enough to have a home like that considering the fact that he has great success in maintaining eenadu, margadarsi, priya, and etc..but the one and only thing that anyone question is ...Can he stand to the expectations of his depositors, who are still showing very high level of faith in him and his life followers, who agree and disagree his stands but still somehow look up to him because of level of influence on political situation in AP.

Anyway, I do heard somewhere that Bruini king, Microsoft Billgates, and Ramoji are the ones who can claim they have the best homes in the world.

Ramoji Rao is like a cocktail. Once you are accustomed to it, you cannot leave it, irrespective whether it gives you bitter taste or not......

Thanks vikram....good stuff again as usually....your telugu blogs seem very very beautiful for reading...

Great story. People have a right to know about this. There is no way to know how much of depositors' money (if at all it happened) was used for these luxuries. Since everything is under HUF, no one can know the actual details, and this is where the public interests are hurt.

I request you to publish, if you have any info about this - how he acquired the site for Eenaadu's Somajiguda and Vijayawada offices. I remember there was a court case about the Somajiguda site. Also, I recently read about the allegations that the Vijayawada office site was not procured in proper way. If you can help us know the truth, it will be great.

I dont have much patience to tell all those things. One thing is right. After getting money, every one trying for fame and a Meaningfull life. Now Ramoji get name. But, bad name. He don't even has the support of his so called "sena". Pity.

this is a well-written piece. rumours r rife that eenadu may hike salaries of its employees by at least 30 pc in a bid to marshall its troops, perhaps, in this ongoing war with ysr. it would be nice if u have and can share info on that.

Did you see Ramoji supporting TRS in the assembly to stop the discussion on Margadarsi? This is the fate of journalism in the state. This can be an ideal case for Eenadu jounalism school students. Public money+yellow reporting= fair journalism

Vikram,
My sincere suggestion to Ramojirao is that, now that things have come to such a pass, and it is inevitable that he may lose hold on his empire anytime, he better launch his own political party instead of leaning on those like the TDP, BJP and the new found freinds like the TRS and LokSatta. All these fellows would not hesitate to dump Ramoji once they feel that things are going too hot to cope with. They are bound to realise that it is political expedient to maintain a safe distance from Ramoji if only to keep atleast a semblance of clean face to carry to the next general elections in the state.
I don't think it is difficult for Ramoji at all to find a political party of his own. He can persuade his entire battery of journalists to contest on his party behalf with thousands of employees in Margadarsi, Eenadu, ETV and many of his group companies who would do party work for the same salary.
Ofcourse he can have a pre-poll alliance with all those parties who are currently advocating on his behalf in and out of Assembly.
Eminent persons like Ram, Dua, Jayaprakash and so on may be roped in to campaign.
Yes, Ramoji should take to politics. After all I remember it was Bernard Shaw or someone as saying that politics is the last resort of a scoundrel. Go ahead Ramoji ! We are with you !!
