Alone and lonely at the top

Some readers have expressed strong objection to our comment on Mr Suman's stay in the hospital in this article.Yes, we agree, we should have been more sensitive and sensible. We are sorry.
We also wish to correct ourselves. The article mentions about the 10% mandatory annual increase in copies for Eenadu agents. We now learn that this method was done away with after several complaints and a new incentive-based, agent- friendly system introduced in its place. So, please ignore that comment.

Vikram,

This is too great. A clear reflection of Ramoji. A man who pulled down everyone to reach the top position, a man who did not allow anyone around him to remain the only man, is today in troubles with no one around - even the family members. The leaders of the party, which he had nourished all these years, too are not ready to talk for him everyday. He had 'purchased', 'acquired', 'received as gift', several acres of lands in the state with his 'Eenadu' but never allowed his own staff (journalists) to 'receive as a gift a piece of land for house site from the government', did not allow them even to buy the lands in the government pool. What an egoistic personality!? He often tells his journalists to write about corruption starting with 'the man who had nothing but a cycle, today owns several cars, buildings' kind of reports. But, he never thought that such reports always reflected his face with wolf eyes. You've used the Naxals initially for promotion of your paper and then became the State's most anti-communist in treating the employees. Enough man, stop cheating people; stop talking nonsence. We should also thank the voters of this state for having defeated TD in 2004 elections. Otherwise, the TD would have by now introduced his life story in the textbooks for the schools. WE are saved to some extent. But, the danger is still there!

Hatsoff to the writer. Iam in love with his Telegu. Latest news is: Chandrababu lost hopes on Ramoji. He is launching his own channel thru his friend Narendra Choudhary. This Coudhary is starting a channel called NTV(Narendratv) and recruited etv veteran and ex-editor of Newstime.
An old etv deskman who was incharge of Vissatv who advised Vissa management to withhold the salaries for 6 months is 2nd in command. Hope this team will help Choudhary to promote Naidoo.

Land and media. I believe A.P's media'll be controlled by realtors in future.
Like RamojiRao, Narendra chowdhry grabbed acres in Jhills. Narendra chowdhry is present president of jubilee hills housing society. No doubt he'll use the media for covering his deeds. As long as journalists are unemployed, as long as they are willing to work with anyone who offers them a job we cannot stop this trend. I pity the so called seniors joined with Narendra tv.
Quote of the day: Get into media n protect your lands.

I thought only newspapers had the bad habit of concocting readers view column most of the time. But now it seems the infection has spread to blogs as well. Of course Journalists are journalists. Where ever they are print, elctronic or television media, self patting is the order of the day.

All the six comments to me appeared like YSRs targetted statements on surrender of land. Im the holiest, the other man is most crooked. Lol. Its time the blog editors mature. The first lesson in journalism is dont allow your personal likes dislikes reflect in your reports. Lets try and once again improve Journalist ethics and values.

This is something that really hurt me and will hurt me for long long time. Mr. Ramoji Rao said in his address, that was my first day of Eenadu Journalism School, he did not take us as we were better to those who were not selected. Indeed, he believes that he can make a lorry cleaner into a useful journalist for Eenadu. I felt that I was about to learn and work with an organisation that was so uncivilized from its very head. This sort of treatment continued in many forms during my work. Still my financial situation forced me to stay with the organisation for five years. Later, I realized that understanding this compulsion of people make Mr. Ramoji talk so. I have no stand towards anybody, but whenever I hear that Mr. Ramoji is in trouble, it sounds enjoyable news to me, honestly!!

hey,

ramoji is going mad. none can stop him or change him. take a look at the eenadu for the last 2 days. he is out to expose ysr, in an attempt to prove that he is right. such a one-sided views to save his skin doen't help him. i still wonder, y people are reading that paper as he uses the state's largest circulated daily to protect himself and his own interests? can't the readers act now? or are they also think like him (trying to protect their own people, using public platform). if the paper is used for his own purpose, why should the government give him newsprint and why not the newsprint quota withdrawn? what a pity, he continues to use the paper for his own interests and not the public. god only save this state.

Dear Vikram,

I have been watching your blog coming up so well for the last couple of weeks. Though at times I wanted to congratulate you, I thought it would be presumptuous and stayed back. Now, on seeing this piece on Ramoji, I could not restrain myself.

Really your piece is simply superb. Both your content and style are so perfect. Choice of language and expressions matched so well that I, for a second, began imagining which great Telugu writer it could be. Anyway, whoever you are, you are doing a good service to AP media, even as I have some small issues with your views, like in the piece on bandh.

Keep it up.
