The rains have caused untold human misery in the State. We had our hands full at work with that and the regular stuff about the State government, Karimanagar by-election et al. This week, we can expect more on the bungling by YSR’s government in handling rehabilitation works and of course the pet theme — corruption by Congress leaders, swindling of flood relief funds. ORR takes a back seat for now!
It’s encouraging to see the response to the initial posts, some resentment but mostly cheering. A good deal of inputs have poured in on a variety of issues — State of affairs at ToI, ToI’s Tambola Tamasha, plans on celebrating Ramoji’s B-day, DC shares going up and questions about financials , Apollo Hospitals buying peace after patient's death by paying off trouble-maker parents, impending launch of more news channels and papers in the State and more!
Ram’s out at ToI and Mir Ayub Ali Khan logged in. Let’s congratulate him and wish him well. Will the soft and straight Ali saab find himself at home at the market-centric ToI? Or after a decade @ DC, will ToI be a zannath for him? Let’s see.
We will discuss all of these in the next week.. For now, let’s take a peek at the media scene, that’s promising action!!
