Await action from Eenadu

Team Ramoji is having a marathon brainstorming session in the empire’s citadel –RFC. The top brass has been engaged in intense discussions for the last three days. No idea on the agenda and the progress. Our (lowly-placed and highly-unreliable) sources say the theme for the meet is: What’s the best move for Group to demonstrate the unwavering support and trust it enjoys from the public.
Ramoji’s credibility came to be questioned for the first time in 30 years of his public life, courtesy Operation Undavalli. He went on the defensive, taking columns of space to explain himself to the people. That did not help. After Margadarsi, RFC lands were targeted. Ramoji did more explanation, in paper and on TV. Did not help. Andhra Jyoti said Priya pickles were filthy, based on FDA comments. Eenadu dedicated Page One space to explain the situation. Ramoji was never so vulnerable in his life!
That’s the background. So, what can be done to counter all this propaganda and grandly demonstrate people’s trust in Eenadu & Ramoji? It should be a masterly move that would silence all critics forever. Our (lowly placed, highly unreliable) sources did not get any wind on the outcome but inform that an IPO, initial public issue, was considered. We don’t believe that. Ramoji never believes in explaining anything to anyone. Going public means he would have to face questions from the riff raff, like you and me, who attend the AGM. What says you? Any other ideas for Eenadu group can be posted in your comments! The best idea would be quickly usurped, that’s the secret of success!!

Yes this is what we heard too. Whether or not this is true is unclear but what is certain is that Eenadu babus have hired a consulting firm to evaluate their company's net worth. what could that be for? if not a public issue?

Yes, it's true. Eenadu group is going IPO. It's confirmed.

Ramoji has two options now
a) Going for an IPO
or
b) Filing an IP

why not write about some good and sincere journalists?

I know the brain behind this blog. He is a frustrated, gossip-mongering slimeball. His job, throughout his career spanning over 10 years in print media including Eenadu, Deccan Chronicle and later the Times of India, was only to mud sling people. A cunning and wily fox who was called as 'Chanakya' by the top management in Deccan Chronicle. You know whom I am talking about. Now don't pretend that the world doesn’t know you. If you think your 'Alluri Seetharama Raju', then why don't you announce your name and fight an open battle to cleanse the "muck" in the media. Only you and other frustrated media personnel of your ilk can find time for such "unproductive and unconstructive" ways of spending time. In Deccan Chronicle, you have been a chamcha, a stooge of the powers-that-be, reason why there is hardly any acerbic and vehement criticism about the management of that paper in your blog. In Times of India, it's everyone's knowledge that you had tough time with JS, reason why your blog is filled with such venom against him? Agreed Ram Karan is an excellent professional in the print media. But why is that your blog doesn't have an unbiased opinion on him. RK is known for his temper tantrums as for his skills. How often were the junior staff not subjected to his disparaging and scathing remarks? Many were made to feel small and undeserving creatures like cockroaches surviving in gutters. Come on, don't be lopsided. Corp communications doesn’t mean this. Grow up man, your past your age to do these things. One last thing, if you have balls, put up this comment in its entirety and then we will decide if you’re a ‘Alluri Seetharama Raju’

Hello Jaa

Whoever you are...your language, manner are both uncivilsed, to say the least..If you are so sure about the blog author why dont you pick the phone or meet and sort your issues ?

I again say.. can we not get personal and dicuss issues that are affecting journalists and journalism in andhra pradesh ?

The issues are more important that petty personal attacks that seems be filling the space here

Hi thetruthdotcom,
Good joke yaar..IPO or IP, the options left for Ramoji.

Even Sita Ramaraju had to leave the urban settings and go to forests, and fight from there. Perhaps, he was so sure in a rootless urban living, people are ready to back stab their friends, in the next seat, for a pay hike and promotion.

It sounds right, this guy is really wasting time. Better close down this blog and go and engage in some 'constructive and productve' activity. How, making the scribes to sell cell phones for subscriptions. Or run a newspaper, asking scribes go and collect ads, publish special issues and then take your salaries. You are sure to get an MP ticket in next general elections.

Dear Jaa...,

If you know the brain behind this blog, please enlighten us.

If I were you, I would encourage more people to read the blog and post their opinions.

If you knew he (vikram) was not sincere, what prompted you to equate him with Alluri Seetharama Raju’.

If you knew the so called 'Chanakya', then you are vouching for his integrity unknowingly.

If you have the cheek to cleanse the media, show some nephronic strength and not behave like urea.

If you are a sincere watchdog of this society, be party to the blog. Else, create a new one for people of your ilk.

If you are a journalist, why are you wasting time reading a blog that makes you hyperactive.

If your are a normal person, then please write using your head and not your heart, which seems to be on fire.

Every body intrested...Who is Vikram?... is he gabbar...who says "ARE O SAMBA"...

Anonymous said...

Ramojirao has been facing all these problems because he had harassed his employees. The God is creating the problems.

Anonymous said...

Dear Krishna,

Why are you so bothered about Vikram's identity. Yes he is a Gabbar Singh to those Khalnayaks. a.k.a, cruelest editors, and he need not have a SAMBA cry.

Anonymous said...

Hey Krishna, Gone are the days of Krishnas and Ramas killing the dalits by branding them as Rakshasas. Now it is time for Kamsa and Ravanas to take revenge. Why are you so concerned about Vikram's identity. He is only protecting the dalits and oppressed in the media.

Reason for defending Nag? Hope, this CG is not eying on Rk's seat. Its toooooooooooooooooooooo tall a seat for such a shooooooooooooooort experience. If it happens TOIHYD will go to dogs. Now it's an internal emergency in TOIHYD, PluuuuuuuuuuuuuuzZ, let us meet in the cellar, to night

hey vikram,

journalists in the state should rally behind mvr sastry of andhra bhoomi, for having openly come out on the print media (read bhoomi edit pg article on dec. 4). he talks with meaning and is exposing ramoji's corrupt practices. besides, mvr also referred to the exploiting ways of the media management. though mvr is known for his communal-right wing politics, he is sounding perfect with values in media. true, the managements and even the editors are looking for young, inexperienced reporters to replace the senior scribes. mvr, u r doing well in this, but we'll all stand for u if only u think more secular than being just right wing secular.

Why is everyone after TOI? It is as good or bad as any newspaper in the city. When people working with TOI are not bothered about the conspiracy to unseat Nag, why is/are Vikky & Co trying to dream of the unthinkable. It is time for Vikky & Co to shift their focus on to something constructive and stop imagining that TOI has become a 'randikhana' after RK quit.

Anonymous said...

du think no one from TOI is talking throuhg this blog?

Anonymous said...

Randikhana. I guess you have said it. That's what Mr Nag is running at Times. A Randikhana. I didn't say it. You said it.( With apologies to RK Laxman)

Mr Jaa
Blog is your personal space and challenging the author to publish your crappy comments uncensored is as crude as the allegation. How are you a better person? You are sickening. keep your filth to yourself or start your own blog that lashes out at everything that is being said here.
You could have actally named the author than talk. More importantly why are u hiding behind a veil of anonymity.
Wish you'd grow up.
